A secessionist state proclaimed in Donechchyna, the Ukraine on the 7th of April, 2014; it has assumed for itself the status of being the successor state of the 1918 Donetsk–Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic and is one of two members of the Confederation of Novorossiya.
